Maximum frustration

Why does flu exist? Or fever.

I felt excellent this morning, like 'maybe the flu didn't like me after all'. Oh but dat thing loves me, it's all back, after a little trip to the outside world... swallowing is what I hate the most in this. I would easily cope with a little fever but of course silly me didn't go to a shop to get something stark to bite. And today is a holiday, they're all closed.

Somethings gotta be done to this.

Becoming sick

Sooo, I haven't posted for a while. I've got flu symptoms here and despite of me curing it the best way I can, think it's gonna blow all over me. This is going to suck, but let's see about tomorrow. Sometimes miracles happen overnight... :)

Last weekend was pretty crazy with Andy. Hmm... yeah. I feel like I shouldn't write more about that here. Last weekend, anyway, was nice: the sunny weather of Sunday, particularly. I went running and started fixing the moped. We'll see what's gonna come out of that project. That thing has seen its best days but I'm positive it'll run one more time.

There's more I wanted to say, but...

Osta bubu

Enjoying myself a lot on this beautiful sunday. It seems though as if it could rain any moment, but the weather is finally starting to warm up.

There's a hockey game going on, vs. Sweden, and they took the first period 1-0. I guess I'm gonna watch the whole game. I don't have beer and chips though, like I should, I just got something different.

I'll be excited to fiddle with the camera that I'm picking up tomorrow. My Sony was, after all, over two years old technology and this one was just recently released. Ha ha. Got a memory card for it, 1GB. It looks like it should be enough for the Norway trip. There'll be an enless amount of photographing oppoturnities and I'm gonna use 'em.

I ordered a camera yesterday, Digital Ixus 70. It looks like a dream come true. I've been interested in those things since I first held one. Now we'll see how she performs, but I'm expecting seeing something stunning. Got my old DSC-W15 sold for 82€. It was a good money for that with all its faults. I'm gonna *sob* RIP. I should get a huge memory card for it, too. 32MB is a blashphemy.

Getting it on monday.

I managed to present my thesis' halfway-there report. I got a lot to think about, but I've been terribly relieved today... I bet I'll be a lazy fuck the whole weekend. I suspect rFactor is going to take its share of my hours. Yea I bought that too. Feels almost like driving a real car, very orgasmic. Oh no, I won't have a boring time here...

SS 2005

Summer in Germany, 2005. It was an interesting part of my life that I often think about, particularly when things here aren't moving on.

There are others than Sarah I'd like to see again... Miha the Slovenian, Mr. Pilkka the pothead, and most importantly the Russian, Marina. Anna. Laura. I don't know whats holding me from travelling to Kaliningrad. It's a feeling... that it wouldn't end up as well as I imagine. I try to think too much of is it worth it. The place has a bad reputation. Well, boo hoo.

Just came from that dark city of Kokkola. Hoping the weather tomorrow is not so chilly. Yesterday was +5 but windy, not really the perfect weather to go out to the nature. I went to the beach area and noticed the ice is melting... got some good pictures too. If today is sunny, I'll do that again.

Friday morning

Friday morning, waiting for the sleep to attack on me. What I did today was skipped all lessons, looking out of the window taking notice that it wasn't sunny, thus going out 'cause I only possess a winter jacket, then shopping around and writing my terrible masters thesis.

Shopping was fun. I found a nice bright blue/white t-shirt, since lately I've really ran out of good shirts. I mean I love mine, but not everyone does, cause they have some holes and stuff. I wanted to find some stuff for tomorrow's rasta party by Gig@. I didn't find anything, so I'm going there ignoring the dress-code. I never really loved the red overalls -idea everyone else raves about. But I'm going because it's RASTAAAAH!! Can't miss that. Then, on saturday, I'm forced to go to the farm. Not that I really mind but I'm not in the driving for two hours - mood. I probably want to return the next day already.

It sounds like I'm not having more important things to say, so mon, folks.

I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger on a new camera, Ixus 70 probably. But I'll withdraw from that for now... could even regret it, you know. I guess my old Sony W15 will do. I don't like how it uses it Akkus up too fast particularly in cold. Well, there are other things why I don't like it, but then again I do. It's a nice retro camera.

I feel like a holiday abroad would heal me majestically.

Yeah. Nothing much to report from here.

21st April

I came back at home from a small party arranged to those who are aiming to spend a semester abroad this year. I was a bit lucky to get two free beers, after those two beers I got a real bright idea: get two more. I don't remember the past three hours very well. I have done a great sin... underestimating beer.

Anyway, there was no one from Norway or going there now & previously and I settled talking to some people who had been in Germany and someone from Mexico. I'm sure this bunch have xperienced some troubles regarding culture shock. ;)
